Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP Workflow
Nothing could be simpler. AutoCAD MEP Fabrication is 100% embedded inside AutoCAD MEP and does not require importing, exporting, round-robin of data to work with real manufacturer content and to create HVAC and Piping construction design and documentation. All you need is AutoCAD MEP 2009, EastCoast CAD /CAM’s database of manufacturer content and EastCoast’s software toolset. Once these three software components are installed, this total HVAC and Piping Software Solution is where contractors complete all of their work, from initial design through to fabrication. The only phase of the project that requires a one-way download is when the fabricator is ready to send their duct sub-systems to their industry standard CNC cutting tables (see process flow below).
