Lastly, I wanted to let you know that we are facilitating 3 August training classes in Marlborough, all at a reduced summer rate. Release of Beta 1 - MEP Fabrication
We are very happy with the level of interest we have from our customer base in regard to our end-of the month new Beta. The tool is called MEP Fabrication. It is a Beta version and is not intended to be used in a real production environment. However, we have a solid number of beta testers who will be using the tool to consume Revit MEP Duct drawings from Revit and into AutoCAD MEP for fabrication. Beta 1 contains some great productivitiy tools for selecting and managing duct systems for fabrication. Beta 2, which we expect to release the first of September will be a much more polished version and will include replacing entire generic AutoCAD MEP duct systems with full fabrication detail in a matter of a second or two. We expect to release the tool at Autodesk University 2010. The follow-on release will include a full round-robin, taking the as-built relevant fabrication detail back into Revit MEP.
